The Mesolithic and Neolithic periods signify the shift from the use of natural internal cave systems to external man-made stone monuments. The remains of this megalithic phenomenon have left us an important series of clues through which we are still able to communicate with the builders today: the stone probably represented the rudiments of a 'religious' lexicon. In this regard, megalithic structures can be seen as extensions of internal / external communication as a result of high consciousness.

The specific selection of different types of stone, the dispositions, the orientations, the placement in the landscape can be seen as part of an ancient language. Each stone representing a "word" or memory and the "words" put together form statements and connections.
It has been recognized that a large number of megalithic sites have stones that are clearly "simulacra" and can be assumed to act as a form of physical or metaphysical bridge connecting us (through our presence) to both the heavens (through their orientations) simultaneously, than to the environment and finally to each other.
The ornaments, the beauty of the artifact have the task of seducing the Gods and evoking their benevolence to better face everyday life.

The stone up to the present day in the shape of tombstones represent "the carriers of the soul" and in rare cases retain the belief in crystals as a source of "power" or a means of "channeling energy". However, today's stones have emptied themselves of the fodder and imaginative contents of the past, while only some rare stones have acquired a high value, on which it was agreed that they have an economic value, such as diamonds and so-called precious stones.

The clay sculptures, which under the mineralogical profile is nothing more than a rock made up of one or more minerals, evoke these ancient practices that in fact put the community and coexistence with nature at the center of the attention of the man of the time. . The change in our conception of God consists in moving from a sensual experience of God to a value that we worship as God.
